Privacy Policy

• Account data — email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile Google returns (name, email, avatar).
• Search & matching data — style images you upload, the region you select on an image, text descriptions and filters, plus the match results generated for you.
• Order & shipping data — recipient name, company, phone, email, shipping address and the fabrics in each swatch box or cut-sample order.
• Sourcing requests — briefs, reference images and attachments you send to our sourcing team.
• Technical data — basic log and device information used to keep the service running and secure.

• Run AI fabric matching on the images and descriptions you submit.
• Collect swatch cards from mills, prepare cut samples and ship your orders.
• Send order, shipping and sourcing-result notifications.
• Provide your saved fabric library, order history and address auto-fill.
• Improve match quality, detect abuse and keep accounts secure.

We do not sell your personal data.

We share only what is necessary with providers that operate the service on our behalf: cloud hosting and database/authentication infrastructure, AI model providers used for image and text matching, payment processors, and international couriers (such as DHL or FedEx) that need your shipping address to deliver swatches. Mills and suppliers receive only the fabric request details needed to prepare a swatch or cut sample.

Images and descriptions you submit are sent to AI providers to identify fabric attributes and rank matches. Do not upload material you are not allowed to share. You can delete your search history from the search page at any time.

If you connect an external AI assistant through our MCP endpoint, that assistant only gets access after you sign in and approve it, and it can then read the public fabric catalogue plus your own favourites and orders. You can revoke the connection from the assistant at any time. See the Help Center for details.

Account, order and sourcing records are kept while your account is active and for as long as needed to handle after-sales, accounting and legal obligations. Search history and uploaded style images are kept so you can revisit past searches, and are removed when you clear them or delete your account.

• Access, correct or update your profile and saved address in your account.
• Clear your search history and remove saved fabrics at any time.
• Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing hello@swatchfree.com.

Access to your data is protected by authentication and row-level access rules, so one account cannot read another account's favourites, orders or sourcing requests. Attachments are served through private, expiring links. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to keep access limited to what each request needs.

SwatchFree is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.
